About Eileen

With nearly 40 years of public service, Eileen Walker has spent her career fighting for fairness and justice. As a social worker in Hamilton and Halton, she worked directly with individuals and families, helping them navigate crisis and access vital services.

Later, as a Justice of the Peace in courts across the GTHA, Eileen presided over bail hearings, provincial offences trials, and cases involving some of Ontario’s most vulnerable residents. She met with members of the public to address issues like domestic violence, mental health crises, and neighborhood disputes—always leading with fairness, integrity, and a belief that justice should be accessible to all. She also mentored young people pursuing careers in law, helping shape the next generation of legal professionals.

Eileen knows the challenges facing Hamilton Centre: housing affordability, healthcare access, and economic opportunity. She has spent her life tackling these issues head-on, not just in the courtroom but in the community—working directly with people to find real solutions. Now, she’s ready to do the same at Queen’s Park.

Eileen and her husband are proud parents and grandparents who believe in the power of strong communities. She looks forward to earning your support and working together to build a fairer, more inclusive Hamilton Centre.

You deserve a strong voice at Queen’s Park—someone who listens, understands, and takes action. I’ve spent my career standing up for fairness and justice, and I’m ready to do the same for Hamilton Centre. Let’s work together and build a better Ontario with More For You. Eileen Walker
